I’m going to spend some time learning how to create themes for WordPress, as I cannot seem to find what I like either for my blog or my website. Plus I feel a little strange relying on the kindness of others. So, we’ll see how creative I can really be. Once I’m through with that, I’m thinking about going backward through the Bill of Rights as a sort of primer on what I mean by “negative rights” and also to point out the unconstitutionality of recent orders by the Executive branch. Or should I shorten that to the Rex branch?
I’m reading Al Gore’s book The Assault on Reason, right now, and it’s some of the most compelling reading I have had since I read the speeches of Vaclav Havel, Lincoln, Kennedy, Churchill, or Washington’s second farewell speech. In other words, Gore sounds presidential. Check it out. I personally think it would serve as an excellent introduction to U.S. civics.
