Democrat: The New Republican

Way to go Democrats. You suck. It would have been better to withhold ALL money then to give Bush a blank check on the U.S. invasion of the formerly unoccupied nation of Iraq. Pat yourselves on the back, you servants of the fundamentalists trying to bring on the Apocalypse.

Jim Moran, you lost my vote. You can’t fix the predatory towing companies stealing cars from private parking lots in Northern Virginia, you shouldn’t have opened your mouth about the corrupt mess that is becoming Reston when you are not a representative of that local government, and you shouldn’t have put up a survey on your website that did not include the option to put forth NO BILL WHATSOEVER if the alternative was to give Bush all the money with none of the accountability. “I don’t know,” is not an appropriate other option. You really, really shouldn’t have voted for the money but against the minimum wage gain, because it made it look like you opposed the money. As far as I can tell, Dennis Kucinich what was the only one who did vote against ALL of it.

Too bad he won’t win the Dem primary. To me as an independent, he is the only party politician that makes sense as a president. You suck Dems. You ruined your chance to hold the independents. I think I’ll go back to my old days of voting for any third party around. Or not at all if more of the same is my choice.

Congratulations, junior rubber stampers. I want to puke.

**UPDATE: OK, so now I can’t actually unwind the votes here. I know there were 2 amendments to the H.R. 2206 bill, and that 2 votes were taken on it, but I can’t figure out what the amendments pertained to. I thought they were the minimum wage and low-income child insurance money, but it could very well have been quibbling over what the title of the bill should be. Note that that does not change my position. Dems claim that they will get to fight again in September. I think they have only proven to a sociopath that they are unable to beat him in a game of chicken. Because to him, this is no more real than a game…
